Waiting for an update: need more stuff, Id like to edit automations and tempo in the song sequencer.

Can cover a lot of synth territory, from 80s to now, but the UI can be irritating sometimes...

Why didnt I try this sooner? I think the colorful interface made me question its ability. Was I wrong! Beyond the pretentious pseudo-instruments and on-par with (and possibly beyond) mainstream instruments like ims-20, rebirth, and ielectribe. Might be the best of only a handful of true software synthesizers for iOS. A few fixes would make this perfect 5-stars like linear knob movement, keyboard scrolling position, knob automation, occassional sound drops, and a less vague UI.

Im not sure if its superior than any of the other competitors, but this never gets brought up enough when people compare iPad "daws" like music and nano studio. I think you should change the header from synthesizer to workstation considering it has a full sequencer.

I had used this app for numerous months and loved it but recently I had to reset Im iPod and I redownloaded this app but I can no longer edit patterns without it crashing. If I tap on the screen at all on the pattern editor it crashes. This is a serious problem that makes this incredible app completely useless. I am willing to wait for an update to fix this but until then, this app will be clogging up space on my iPod.

All in all, its a great app. No lag, good sound quality, etc... The flaw is... After sustained playback of a pattern, the app goes silent. If the devs fix this problem, Ill definitely update my review. (5 stars)

It would be great to be able to live record more than one pattern at a time and have an option to turn quantize OFF, but aside from that its a great app. The Argon looper would be ideal with this instrument set...please incorporate that IceGear.

Without a doubt this is one of the most elegantly designed and fun to use synth apps out there... There are several subpar synth apps getting more attention and that is a shame... Give Xenon some love people... It will love you back...

Under rated for sure! This app gets 5 stars.

All my sounds echo including drums and fx. I cant figure out if it is supposed to do that...

Now this allows a lot of creativity. High quality sounds with enormous control possibilities. Putting creations together on the sequencer to create a collage of layered sounds is so easy. All for a mere $5 its a steal. Runs so smooth, no unwanted clicks or pops, easy to copy&paste to my iPads DAWish apps. This is the synthesizer Ive been looking for to accompany my portable iPad music studio. You cant miss with Xenon if you want synthesizers easy to use that allow you full control like a synth should. What a deal. Love it!

Okay so yeah good machine but all my stuff got deleted and my favorite piano got replaced

Intuitive, straightforward, very high-quality audio. You can jump in immediately just noodling around or expand into more sophisticated configurations.

Super fun to mess around with. Very intuitive interface and great sound. The included presets are fun and my midi keyboard works well with the app with very low latency. Sequencing is a breeze. Great price too!

I had this on my ipad1 and it worked great, it however is super cpu intensive on the ipad2, leading to popping and glitching sound quality freezing and unresposiveness at times...it uses way more processor percentage than it previously did....so i can load half as much on twice the processor speed....this needs a bugfix immediately please! Then you can have 5 stars. :)
